URBANA — Patients of Carle Foundation Hospital and physician group will be able to begin accessing their own medical records online, starting Feb. 6. Demi Moore 911 tape spurs effort to ban release of 911 calls
LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles-area politician said Thursday that she plans to introduce a bill to prevent 911 calls from being made public following the high-profile release of the Demi Moore emergency call. Democratic Assemblywoman Norma Torres said that 911 calls should be treated the same as medical records, which cannot be released because of privacy laws.
